Overview of the tour
This tour focuses on sake that has won international awards. Based on your preferences, you will visit one or two world-renowned award-winning breweries in Japan.
In addition to the usual tours of sake breweries, this tour includes breweries that are not open to the public. You will also be able to visit off-limits areas and have an explanation from the head of the brewery about their history and the commitment to sake making.

OUGI original experience
The highlight of this tour is sampling fresh Namazake (unpasteurized sake), Genshu (strong undiluted sake), and Koshu (aged sake) that you can have only at the sake brewery. This tour presents a rare opportunity of sake pairing with seasonal experiences and food.
Upon your requests, OUGI will arrange the visit with Ritsuko Shimada, a sake stylist, to have a special sake lecture and paired lunch and dinner.

Founded in 1892. It was the first in history to win the IWC's highest award of “Champion Sake” twice, and in 2024 the sparkling sake won the trophy.
Surrounded by the rich nature which you would never expect as in Tokyo.
It is a winner of the gold award in the Premium Daiginjo category at the 2024 "Delicious Sake in a Wine Glass Awards". In May 2024, "Houjou Sanjugo (Junmai Daiginjo Sake Category)" and "Junmai Ginjirushi (Junmai Sake Category)" won platinum awards at the Kura Master Sake Competition in Paris.
A long-established sake brewery founded in 1750.
After winning the gold award at IWC 2014, it has won awards for six years consecutively. Their popular brands are the sparkling sake made in collaboration with Alain Ducasse, and the sparkling aged sake in Suntory’s Hakushu whisky barrels.
ESHIKOTO is a Japanese sake brand as well as a name of a complex facility. It was created by Nizaemon Ishidaya, the owner of Kokuryu Sake Brewery that was established in 1804 and has been one of the iconic sake breweries in Japan. In the complex facility, you can know more about the sake culture as well as culture in Hokuriku region which Kokuryu Sake Brewery is based in.
ESHIKOTO has the limited sake brand “Ei”, which you can purchase only there.

Founded in 1675, Masuda Tokubee Shoten is the oldest sake brewery in Fushimi, Kyoto.
You will visit a sake brewery that is not open to the public (the brewery originally produced sparkling nigori sake and aged sake).
Dassai is top sake brand in Japan.
This brand has won numerous competitions. It has an exquisite balance of fresh taste as well as soft and delicate aroma.
