“The Folklore of KAGURA 7 Kagura Tradition Experience Program” was introduced on the official Facebook page of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).

2026.3.21

The tour “The Folklore of KAGURA 7”, planned and offered by OUGI, was featured on the official Facebook page of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) in a post dated 21st of March 2026.

JNTO uses social media to provide a wide range of practical travel information from a foreigner’s perspective. In particular, its global Facebook account distributes carefully selected tourist information about Japan to those who are highly interested in travel from around the world. This time post introduces, to the world in English, the spirituality of Kagura expressed through its movements and the mystical worldview of Oita’s Buzen Kagura as well as the strength of the tradition that has lived on with its successors.

Following the official JNTO newsletter sent out in December last year, the OUGI’s tour was introduced on their social media as well. It means that our tour is counted as “an important tourism resource symbolising Japan’s diverse charms and encouraging visits to Japan”. While the JNTO newsletter for foreign media in Japan assured OUGI’s credibility to media and industry insiders, the post on their Facebook page endorsed OUGI’s tour as “a spotlighted experiential story” for travelers around the world.

We are proud of this time JNTO’s post about OUGI’s tour because we consider that it was the result of our sincere approach to local culture that we have valued the most and it was recognised as a leading initiative in Japan by JNTO. Gaining motivation from their introduction, OUGI continues to develop tours that allow people from all over the world to experience the “essence of Japan,” focusing on culture, history, and traditional industries in various regions in Japan.

With your continued cooperation, we create and improve OUGI’s unique value throughout Japan.
