OUGI produced a promotional video to introduce the local content together with the North Heart of Japan
OUGI Inc., together with the North Heart of Japan, produced a promotional movie showcasing the attractive content of the Shonai region. The project involved OUGI’s group company, KAKUSIN Inc., which is in charge of creative production of this video. The video summarises the appeal of the related contents in the Shonai region, and was shown at the international travel business conference in France held in September. The video described the atmosphere of the tour there to viewers.
The project of the promotional video production began when a representative of the North Heart of Japan contacted OUGI, after they watched the promotional video of “The Folklore of KAGURA”, one of the OUGI’s tours. In this project, OUGI produced the video based on the solid concept of the local community. Over the course of the approximately three-month production period, OUGI conducted interviews with local people about the “attractions of the region,” and supported the project from planning to production of the video.
This promotional movie contained the charms of the Shonai region, and was showcased at the international travel business conference in France held in September, by a representative of the North Heart of Japan. The video was praised for effectively advancing business negotiations because even during time-limited business meetings, it was able to convey to viewers a more visual and sensory image of what it would be like to actually take part in the tour.
OUGI plans to continue creating and selling unique tours that allow people to experience the “story of Japan,” as well as actively developing support projects like this time to convey the attractive content of each region.
By collaborating with local partners and stakeholders in Japan, we aim to contribute to Japan’s tourism industry by maximizing the charms of Japan that are still unknown to many people thereby attracting tourists and encouraging them to travel around Japan.
