“Mirai Sketch Castle” event started by collaborating with the digital Painting Event “Mirai Sketch Park” & “MEGA CANVAS”!
The participational art project titled “Mirai Sketch Castle” is held from Thursday 14 August to Monday 13 October in 2025. The project aims to expand the imagination and expectation about the future cities with children. The project is presented by the collaboration with the two ongoing events: “Mirai Sketch Park” event held with Wacom Co., Ltd, which is the supporter of the “OSAKA Satellite EXPO 2025” hosted by OUGI Inc., and the large-scale projection mapping event “MEGA CANVAS” in Yumeshima, sponsored by the General Incorporated Association Kansai Innovation Center (MUIC Kansai).
“Mirai Sketch Castle” is a participational art project showing the pictures on the large-scale projection mapping “MEGA CANVAS” next to the Osaka-Kansai Expo in Yumeshima. The project is themed on “future cities,” in which a castle is floating in the sky and surrounded by children’s drawings about cities, people, buildings, vehicles, and other things in the future floating around the castle. This project connects the two events held in Umeda and Yumeshima with art and intends to widely showcase the children’s dream about the future city.
The children’s drawings are created by Wacom’s LCD pen tablets at the family-friendly event “Mirai Sketch Park” in “OSAKA Satellite EXPO 2025.” Their pictures are projected on the “MEGA CANVAS” and found in the special website of “Mirai Sketch Castle.” In the website, you can watch your (children’s) picture and set the date and time to project your picture on the “MEGA CANVAS.” With the visual design there, the website aims to connect the real participational event ”Mirai Sketch Park” and projected “Mirai Sketch Castle” in Yumeshima.

The “Mirai Sketch Castle” also collaborates with a female artist “ktym” born in Osaka. Her artworks are also projected on “Mirai Sketch Castle”. We would like you to enjoy the large-scale projection mapping of these artworks.
OUGI will continue to collaborate with a wider variety of facilities and companies, and widely provide the joy of creativity and opportunities to showcase them, to contribute to the vitality of the local community.
