OUGI presents the summer event “SAKE Meets! Week” in Osaka to meet the award-winning sake breweries

OUGI Inc. will hold a summer sake event titled as “SAKE Meets! Week” where you can meet award-winning sake breweries from all over Japan. As one of the contents of “OSAKA Satellite EXPO 2025” held from July, the event is to be held at the ROHTO HEART SQUARE UMEKITA, one of the landmarks of Umeda from Friday 1st to Sunday 17th August 2025. The event aims to “co-create the value beginning with an encounter” by offering the opportunity to meet between sake (as Japanese culture), people, and summer experiences.

“SAKE Meets! Week” is a summer sake event where you can meet eight award-winning sake breweries from all over Japan that are highly regarded both in Japan and overseas. This event will be held in line with the concept of GRAND GREEN OSAKA, which is a developing area including the event’s venue of ROHTO HEART SQUARE UMEKITA. Their concept is “Encounters in the city create various values and sustainably make everyone and society better.” Therefore, “SAKE Meets! Week” aims to provide an opportunity for visitors to experience a relaxing summer moment in Umekita, surrounded by the natural and city vibes, as well as encounter fine sake and know breweries’ traditions and dedication.

At the event, you can compare several sake provided by participating breweries (for a fee). In addition, you can also enjoy beer, soft drinks, snacks that go well with sake, and shaved ice that is perfect for the summer heat. We will present an experience of tasting Osaka’s summer in the “Umekita” area, surrounded by tradition and innovation, as well as nature and city.

Through “OSAKA Satellite EXPO 2025” including this event, which is also during the period of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, OUGI aims to make tourists visiting Japan feel the charm of Japanese culture and make them want to visit Japan again.
