Stories about rice and Japanese food culture

The Higashimikawa area of Aichi Prefecture was once called “Honokuni” (the land of the gods) because of its abundant harvests, and Toyokawa is one of these areas. KANAE’s performance is based on Toyokawa’s rice and Japanese food culture.
Each and every one of you will have the opportunity to meet the local people of Toyokawa, dance and sing with them, and enjoy the local sake and gourmet food. KANAE is a community-integrated, hands-on tour that satisfies all five senses.

Toyokawa Inari is located in Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture.
Its official name is Myogonji Toyokawa Inari, and it is a Soto Zen temple dedicated to Toyokawadakini Shinten.
Toyokawadakinishinten once visited the temple carrying an ear of rice and riding astride a white fox, which gave rise to the common name of Toyokawa Inari.

Not to mention the local strolling and eating, which is one of the great pleasures of the trip,
and the special entertainment shows set in the historic Inari.
It is as if the entire town is a theme park.
