OUGI’s tour was selected as a “Priority Support Project” in the “Regional Tourism New Discovery Project”

One of OUGI’s tours was adopted as “Regional Tourism New Discovery Project” and also certified as a “priority support project” by the Japan Tourism Agency. The tour is about “The Origin of Japanese Experience in Usa” which provides experience of Kagra (6 days for practice to learn the movements & performances and the final dedication dance performance) & Trail experience in Usa (Omoto Ancient Trail).
During the day, you will enjoy an ancient trail where you can experience the origin of the syncretism of Shintoism and Buddhism, and during the night you will practice the movements and performances of Kagura that have been passed down in Oita. On the final day of the tour, you will perform Kagura dance you have learned. The tour of ~ The Folklore of KAGURA ~ is where you can experience ancient Japanese prayers that transcend time and space.
“Priority support projects” are for projects that are expected to add extremely high value and can strongly attract tourists to regional areas. Through this project, OUGI will accelerate our efforts to encourage more people to stay longer in Oita and Usa.
